    Hi,

I am just beginning to use this module. I get the following error when I try to add  a new item to the Module.

Critical Error: Access to the file ' Virtual path\filename' is denied.

I am not able to figure out what access I need to post a new file.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure what course of action provoked this. But if it is during import as your title suggests, then probably the installation cannot read the files on disk you're trying to import. Importing can only be done of files on the server or on the same network as the server. The asp.net worker process needs to have access to these files or DNN/DMX will not be able to access them for import. The default worker process identity is 'NETWORK SERVICE' in IIS 6.

    Thanks Peter.

Now when i try to add a new item, I get an error "Illegal characters in path."

    Any Suggestions?

Any characters that might cause this to happen? Like ampersands? The path should be in the format of 'C:\\somefolder\myimport' or '\\somefileserver\myimport'.
