Hi,

I am curious to know how the DMX maintain the document's version. Suppose if the document is edited more than once and saved whether the DMX maintains all the version from the begining (including the source file). Also is it possible to provide a custom version control message. For eg 1.Test.docx (Source File) once edited the file name should be changed to Testv2.0.docx.Please let me know how to configure.

Correct me anything is wrong

Thank you peter for your below feedbacks

“I am curious to know how the DMX maintain the document's version”. The process is quite straightforward: DMX creates a new record in DMX_Entries and moves the existing document details in there (and this new record has a pointer to the original record). It then replaces the data in the original record with the new file’s details. This way the link always remains the same.

“Also is it possible to provide a custom version control message”. No. It would require re-programming part of the module. You could do this if you had access to the partial source version of the module.
