Log for File Only Shows for Admin

 We have installed Document Exchange 5.2 and our client just loves it.

They are tracking versions plus they really like the 'Log' for individual documents.  However, they have noticed the 'Log' for documents only shows up for administrators.  We've been able to recreate this and can't seem to find any settings anywhere to show the 'Log' for all users.

Just wondering, are we able to set anything so that the 'Log' is displayed for all users?

HI Rachael,

Yes, it's possible. Edit the following file with notepad:

DesktopModules/Bring2mind/DMX/Controls/Details.ascx

In it you'll see a Log element enclosed in a DMX:dmxpanel with id pnlLog. This panel has view permission set to ViewPermission="Admin". Change this to ViewPermission="True" and everyone can see it.
