Hi, I am currently running 03.02.01 and was wondering if the upgrade to 3.4.6 is safe, or should I go a different route? thanks for any information

Matt, It was developed under 3.3 ignoring 3.2 to 3.3 changes (3.3 is backward compatible ofcourse). 3.2 has the same installer as 3.3. This cannot be said from 3.0 to 3.1 to 3.2. I've made use of the features of 3.2 so it made it incompatible with 3.0 and 3.1. Conclusion: it should be safe for 3.2.1. As always you have to test an upgrade before doing it in production (or make backups etc). This is not because I think it won't work, but because I think that is good practice. Peter

Matt, On your Snowcovered account you will also find a zip file for previous versions of DNN called Bring2mind.DMX_03.04.06_Previous_versions.zip. Download that and put the dll in the bin directory. Does that solve the issue? If not, then please contact me at peter at bring2mind dot net as I feel there is a particularity with the authentication mechanism of your dnn. Peter
