Hi Peter, 1) if a user creates a new document which must be approved by a special user/group, he does not see his own unapproved item ! I think his is not very practical, cause if he wanna change something before the document is approved, he can't do that. So perhaps you can find way that a user is permitted to see his own unapproved documents for editing. 2) Is there a way to display the user who approved a document in the document details ? Hi Holger, Which version of DMX are you referring to? Approval was reworked not too long ago. Concerning this and notably Q2: I plan to revise this mechanism even further in the near future. Peter

It would be a nice feature, if you add a button 'Show Unapproved documents'. If many people upload their files the Approver can just click on that button and see all new not approved documents. So he can faster do his job....

About timing: DMX 4 should be available beginning of 2007 (count on end of January for now).

There is another bug in the Approval of Documents: After a person uploaded a document, he didn't see this document in the collection anymore. BUT if he searches for the document it appears ?!? In my opinon the creator of a document should be able to see and should also be able to edit the document till the document is approved !
