For starters, I'm listed as the portal's admin by my real name, "Larry Gilbert." I log on to a different computer under a network account that is not my own and then log into the portal with DMX using a test account that is not my own. "Larry Gilbert" is not tied to this test account in any way. The account's user name is "test" and the full name of the account is "Test Account." This account does not have approver status.
When I add or update a document in DMX, I, Larry Gilbert, as an approver, get emails stating that something's happened. In fact, I get three emails. Here's the text of the emails:
1st email

3rd email

For one thing, I'm not sure why I get three emails for one document being added. I'm not subscribed to anything. But what really gets me is that every one has this line:
"The item following item has been added by Larry Gilbert"
I didn't log onto the computer with my network account and I didn't log into the portal with my account, but with Test Account's login! Yet, it still says the item was added by "Larry Gilbert."
I checked Logging.ascx.resx, and it's set to use [User:FullName]. In fact, here's the line:
The item following item has been [Custom:4] by [User:FullName]
Why isn't it using the logged in user's full name.
By the way, I think the line should read "The following item has been [Custom:4] by [User:FullName]" but I can change that myself.
Thanks,
Larry
