I am receiveing this JavaScript error on a Demo installation of DMX 4:

Sys.UI.DOMEvnet is null or not an object

What may be the cause of this error?  I am running DNN 4.6.0 and using IE7.  When testing in FF, I do not receive an error.

I run into this error too.
I checked from another computer and did not recieve the error.
I might suspect it is related to .NET 2.0 and AJAX installation on client machine.
You may give it a try.

Yes, it's ComponentArt/Ajax related. The ball is actually not in my court in in ComponentArt's on this. I hope they get this fixed soon.

No solution yet. I have trouble explaining ComponentArt what I have made. Their customer support is not bad, but I get the feeling they're not the most skilled .NET programmers (let alone have any knowledge of DNN).

This is where it's at: it is an error due to using their non-MSAjax dll on a MSAjax installation. They have a MSAjax dll, but it behaves differently. When I replace the non-MSAjax with the MSAjax version the categories selection is no longer possible. It has to do with keeping viewstate. DMX 4 uses a dynamically built Wizard control for edit. This is quite complex and not many people use the wizard this way. In one of the panels of the wizard there is a treeview with checkboxes for the categories. This is where things go wrong. The currently distributed dll is readable for me to handle viewstate. The alternative one is not. So for now I'm stuck with the JS error.

Can you publish a version of the module with the MSAjax.dll? Even if we don't have the categories selection lets see how it works...

If I publish it, then I create the impression that you 'could' use it. If you want contact me directly for a dll, but I'm not posting it anywhere cos it's going to get me in trouble. It basically rules out the use of categories.

I've been able to get the Ajax version of the CA component to work under DMX. Hurray. The issue will therefore be solved for DMX 04.01.00 which will be out soon I expect.

We had a recently feedback about the clipboard and JavaScript errors...
I have installed DMX4(trial version) in a fresh DNN4.6 and I have again problems with the page (JS errors). In this case, I don't have errors when I'm moving panels, neither with the clipboard, but I have problems in the page before the use of any funcionality.
Besides, it doesn't work "open in windows explorer" and "import" at all.
www.dotnetnuke.com doesn't show the 4.5 version of the core, so how can I do for use the module?
do you think about any upgrade to fix these problems soon?
