Is there an automatic approval function?

Some users should be able to upload or copy with WebDAV and have the content automatically approved. Both for files and folders.

We will be uploading hundreds of files and folders automatically through WebDAV and cannot go in and manually approve the documents.

That will work for now. I have to create a separate page or module to make sure only the right users can upload without approval.

A better scenario is to add a checkbox that allows uploads without approval by anyone who has an approval role. That way regular users can upload but must be approved. Admins or managers with approval roles are automatically approved when they upload (because they are the approver).

Oops, I guess that will not work.

It seems to be an all or nothing proposition. EIther nothing gets approved by anyone or everything gets approved, even if you are the approver.

This makes it very hard to manage the site. Any user that has an approval role should not have to approve a document that is uploaded.
