    Hi

    We use DMX in the factory and need to upload large files (about 10-20 Mo). When we try from internal network, all is OK (I'd have before the maxlimit in the web.config) : we can upload file with about 40Mo. But today, I try to upload a file (10Mo) from home and I receive an error message :

    Server Error in / Application

    Runtime Error

    <!--Web.Config COnfiguration File-->

    What's wrong ?

    Google on 'maxRequestLength' and 'executionTimeout' for the web.config and you'll get all the info you need. Upload size is governed by IIS, not DNN/DMX.

    Hi Peter
    I changed the 2 parameters. But it's always very difficult to upload a very large file.
    Sometimes you'll have an error message and another time, the file was upload but no icon in the list and impossible to download : after click on the download icon, i was redirect to the login page ???
    What's wrong ?

    Could DMX4 give me a solution to my problem ?

    I fully agree this is a b*tch to get to work 100% for large files. DMX 4 now includes an upload component (Telerik RadUpload, www.telerik.com) which at least will deal with the execution timeout and give proper feedback to the user. You have to remember that IIS is the boss, no matter what. All we can do is try to ease the pain.
