I have a client who wants to place multiple DMX modules on one portal.  They want each DMX location to point to a different location and the server to display files.  Is that possible.  If so how do you do that?

I believe this is outlined in the installation manual (more of a 'get started' really). All DMX instances behave like a windows into a single shared drive. Every instance can be made to start at a particular point in the document tree, much like a 'virtual drive'. So you design your first layout using the first (admin's) instance of the module and start adding folders. Make sure you give these folders already the proper permissions. Then add DMX instances across your portal and in the module settings, make sure you specify the root of that DMX instance to point to folder XYZ, or whatever suits you.

Another note: do not forget about setting permissions correctly. The page/module permissions govern who sees the module, but ultimately the folder/document permissions decide who sees what content. When you do a search, it searches across the whole underlying document tree.
