Hi,

I am trying to get DMX 4 installed on my development server.  Unfortunately, I have a few modules that use radupload as a standalone project.  Making a change to the web.config in order for your product to allow for uploads breaks all of the modules I have created with radupload.

If I leave the web.config the way it is (just have it referenced as usual) DMX 4 doesn't work.

Is there any way to circumvent this without rewriting those modules?

Thanks!

Shoot, I posted this in the wrong forum, I meant for it to go into DMX 4.  I apologize.  Could a moderator move this thread please?

I am cross-referencing a post, because while I am not getting the same symptoms as this indivdual, I am getting the same error log information, and I have similar hardware and software specs:

Hi Matthew,

You should be able to remove the Bring2mind lines from the web.config. Restart the app just to be sure. Then DMX should detect the absence of this and show the regular asp.net upload panel. This means you no longer benefit from the RadUpload in DMX but at least you can work.

Peter

PS in the not so distant future I'll probably move to another product than RadUpload.

Hi,

You probably can't use it in both if it doesn't work now for you. In that case you need to remove one or the other. Given that DMX has alternatives, you might try removing the DMX one. Go to the main options screen and select another upload provider and remove the Bring2mind radupload stuff from the web.config (can also do this in the web.config admin page of DMX).
