I see from the forum topics that there is a problem with copy/move files through the clipboard.  I am experiencing the problem with DMX4.02.02 and DNN4.08.02.  I am able to use WebDav to move files; however, this is not a solution for our clients to move their own files.

When do you expect this to be fixed?

When do you expect to have the drag and drop feature available?

Thank You

Steve

Hi Steve,

I expect the 'regular' behavior to be fixed within 3 weeks. The drag n drop might take a little longer as it gets stacked with a UI review.

Forgive me, but I cannot find how to copy files from one folder to another.  I have searched all of the docs that I can think of and cannot find how to do this.  I don't needd drag and drop just any way.

Thanks,
Bill Mason

I would like to also add that I have found the copy to clipboard function but no matter where I select, the only items available on the clipboard menu or elsewhere are to clear the clipboard or zip and download the clipboard.

Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill,

It's the clipboard sub-menu under the folder menu. If you have add permission to a folder you'll find the submenu appear if you have something on the clipboard.

Thank you Peter.  I kept looking at the  "Clipboard" menu that is added to the main menu after you do a copy to clipboard.  Never even noticed the extra menu over there.
