Peter,

and another problem with the latest update: There is now a timeout while uploading.

The progress indicator remain at 26%, the total indicator displays for instance 185.03 KB although the file being uploaded is only 116 KB. Estimated time keeps increasing from that point and speed is constantly changing its value. The file is not being uploaded.

The only thing i can find in the logs is " System.Exception: Unhandled Error: ---> System.Web.HttpException: Request timed out. --- End of inner exception stack trace ---"

Any idea? Benjamin was thinking this could have something to do with the new notification subsystem but I don't htink so as obviously the file is not even being uploaded.

Not to forget: Those files are all really small and it happens with every upload. if course it not always remains at 26%, that one differs.

I can see that CPU usage climbs up to something between 50-100% while that happens.

When we force the upload to be handled by the standard asp.net upload control rather than the telerik one the upload works just fine.

Hi Philipp,
I will move away from the RadUpload component that I currently use in due course. I'm looking at alternatives. There are a number of issues (like partial trust) that make me sceptical. It is easy to disable. You remove all the RadUpload lines from the web.config and it will no longer show up.
Regarding your specific issue: I can't replicate it here, so it's hard to determine. More so as it is not my code originally. I hope you understand.
Cheers,
Peter
