Hello,

When i'm setting the permissions on my folders, I am getting an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

Does anyone know what this can be?

Hi Kenneth,

I've run into this problem just recently, also, but found it only occurrs if I tried to edit attributes on a folder used as the top level folder in a "secondary" DMX module. By secondary, I mean not my main DMX module where I manage the overall folder structure.

If that is where you are experiencing the problem, go back to your main DMX module to edit attributes on those folders.

Hi Peter,

Yes, normally I do not have the option to edit attributes on a virtual root folder. However, after creating a new virtual root and referencing it in a new DMX module instance, I was given the option to edit the attributes of the virtual root, which is when I got a similar error. Later, I was not given that option to edit.

I don't mean to make a big deal out of it, just letting you know, and thought that might be what Kenneth experienced.
