Hi Peter,

I am seeing a behavior that is slowly becoming a serious issue for my DMX site. When I have multiple modules on the page including the DMX Module, when the page loads the DMX module forces the page to scroll until the module title is on the screen. Aslong as the title is in focus on the initial page the page will not scroll it’s only when the module is a ways down that the page has to reset the focus.  This was not a serious issue at first but as I continue development there are times where 1/2 of the previous moudle are cut off so that the DMX module title shows.

I mentioned this to you offline back on July 11th, and felt it was probably best to offically document this in hopes it can be resolved in an upcoming release.

Thanks,

Arick

Hi Arick,

I'll see if I can get rid of it. I believe it is a focus thing in the Ajax UI. In the upcoming version DMX 5 you could use the templated UI on that page and you won't have this issue at all.

Peter,

Today I decided to try DMX5 on my development environment, and the ajax view is still producing the same behavior for me. The issue I have is that my users actually prefer the Ajax view vs. the template view. The problem does go away with the template view but it will confuse my users even more if I switch back. If there is a way to apply the Ajax view to the template this would solve it all, otherwise is there a fix or workaround for this problem?

Thanks,
-Arick

Hi Arick,

Ajax features in the template view are not likely to be introduced. It's under review but at this stage I can't say if it is solveable.

Peter,

Fair enough, I will wait to see what happens. Thanks for the update.
