Hi Peter,

I've been playing around with the Navigator add-on with DMX 5 and believe there may be a problem with the width and height setting options.

I want to use the "-1" values here (for both width and height) to let the module auto expand without ever getting the scroll bars, just as it did in the previous DMX 3.x version of Navigator.

The Navigator accepts the -1 settings, but I continue to get the scroll bars. I cleared cache and restarted DNN application without success.

Hi Peter,

A little more information on this. I've noticed a different behavior on this issue based upon whether I click on a folder icon to expand, vs clicking on the "+" sign next to a folder.

Clicking on the "+" sign to expand will cause the horizontal scroll bar to appear (if the subfolders names are longer, etc). However, I've noticed if I click on the folder name/Icon instead of the "+" sign, the horizontal  scroll bar does not appear. (Actually, sometimes I see it appear, then quickly disappear).

Also, If  I do the above on the last (bottom) folder in the tree list, it will momentarily expand to show sub folders, then immediately collapse down.

Let me know if you would like some screen shots or portal access.

Correction to above:

"Also, If  I do the above on the last (bottom) folder in the tree list, it will momentarily expand to show sub folders, then immediately collapse down."

This described behavior happens on all the folders with subfolders if I click on the folder icon.

Hi Rob,

This proved to be the most difficult part of the application. The treeview (by ComponentArt) needs to sit in a container and I can't get it to auto-expand. You HAVE to set the height and width. I have tried various things and have even contemplated moving away from this treeview, but at the same time I wanted to have this thing released. For now you'll have to live with the fixed width and height until I find a better solution.

Cheers,

Peter
