Hi, recently, i installed "document exchange" module which is very nice.
I have a question on categories. I made a folder where i put a certain number of files (the integrality, 300) and i wanted to classify certain of them in different categories. Is there any way (i hope so) to make a bulk classification in categories or do i have to make it file per file? Please, say me it's possible ... I can't take time to make it for 300 files ...

Thank you

Hi Nicolas,

Bulk updating is under review. It is not implemented yet. What you can do is to try and do this directly in SQL if you're handy with that. You'll want to look at DMX_EntryCategories to tie the entry to the category, and use the 'Path' in the DMX_Entries table to select a whole tree of the document exchange.

Are there any plans for adding the bulk categorization functionality to DMZ? Even checking off/creating a selection list in the Ajax UI and dragging/dropping or selecting a "Categorize" option would be greatly appreciated.

Bulk uploads via WebDav and other means are more the norm than exception for me, so getting users to then login to the website to categorize one by one is slow, and because of that, simply not done... Any bulk categorization would be greatly appreciated :_

Thanks, TJ
