Upgrade issue 5.0.2

Upgrading a 5.0.1 installation to the latest build (5.0.2) went without issues, no errors. but all the instances through-out the site had blank interfaces. No folders, files, shortcuts. The top menu was present (Files, Tools, Admin), but no content. I checked the main config and all where pointed to the rigt collection. After refreshing the bowsers (FF, IE), there was still no content. I recycled the AppPool on the server, checked the Eventlog and still nothing. I ended up restoring (DB, files) from back-up. Any insight? Anyone else experience this?

Hi Chris, This is the Javascript caching issue. You have to press F5 (refresh) in your browser to get the new Javascript files to your browser. Peter

Peter, I've been a [web] developer for years, F5 was my first response. This iswhy I double checked it in IE as I rarely use IE and know it's never been on this site. I'm going to try the upgrade again this Sunday morning, I'll let you know how it goes. Chris

Chris, OK, let me know how it goes. Note that the 'blank screen with grey bar on top' indicates a Javascript problem as it does not load the UI. There can be a number of causes. The above is the most likely cause when upgrading to DMX 5.0.2. Peter
