Hi Peter,

I'm just checking out DMX 5.02 on our dev site and had an error when trying to unzip some folder structures to DMX. However only seems to give an error when uploading the larger files. For example when uploading 7 files with one level of nested folders, it was ok, but when I tried a zip with 48 files (about 18meg) and a 2 level nested structure, it gives me this error.

 Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Both sets of zipped files came from a download from our current DMX 4.03 installation.

Any ideas?

best regards,

simon

Hi Simon,

A couple of routes to further explore this:
1. Could this have been an IIS timeout? Does the time taken before the error pop up correspond to the executionTimeout (default 90 secs)?
2. You can do an unzip in 2 stages as well. Upload the zip file without unzipping first, then edit it later and click unzip. Does it produce this error as well, and if so, during the second stage?
3. Are there any files in the second zip with weird characters in the file names?
