Hi Javier,

It's trying to install to SQL 2000. The error states 'incorrect syntax near MAX' which happens 100% when trying to install to SQL 2000. Double-check connection strings in the web.config ...

I´m trying to install to server with SQL server 2005, but error

Connectionstrings tested:

      name="SiteSqlServer"
      connectionString="Server=(local);Database=DotNetNuke;uid=;pwd=;"
      providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

Hi Javier,

You resolved the connection string issue? It looks like you still had it commented out in the web.config.

PS Note that SQL Express listenes to the server name .\SQLEXPRESS and not (local) like 2000/MSDE did.
