I'm wondering if DMX will allow me to do this easily. I would like to have a My Files page where each user can see their own personal files. I would like the administrator to be able to see all of the files obviously, but have them categorized somehow by the user (a folder perhaps). Is this feasible and how hard is it to implement? I am hoping I don't have to go in and set the permissions on a 1,000 different folders for each user. David

Hi David, Technically anything can be done. The question is at what expense. Here the real issue is creating those folders. If we could create them quickly then DMX can do the rest. This would allow us to do this without touching the UI or underlying code. After some thought I think your best bet is to look at doing this through SQL. It would not be too hard to sculpt a piece of SQL that would create folders for users with the correct permissions. And it should do this for all users that do not already have their folder. Finally you'd have a scheduled task that would run that SQL every so often. Does that sound like it might be a solution for you? Peter
