Add folders from DNN portal (other module) to DMX?

I am using an additional module which allows users to upload files to their user profile. These files are stored somewhere in Portals/_pid/moduleName/files/_uid/. Is it possible to reference these folders in DMX? Additionally, replace the uid with the username? So when users upload files to their profile, they will be also available in DMX in a kind of "My Documents" folder..

Hi Jens,

In v 5.1 there will be a synchronization feature for DMX which will allow you to mirror a directory on disk. Other that that you can only add hyperlinks to the files.

Note that for a full 'My Documents' solution you need to do more than show some folders. You also need to work on security.

Hi TJ,

I has it planned to be out already but we ran into an issue last week which warrants further investigation. With a bit of luck this will be debugged within a week and with targeted testing it should be out in a fortnight. But note it is software, and deadlines are slippery as heck.
