Files and Folders / Categories Question

I have setup document exchange on our website to use folders, and the need has arisen for me to upload a few files that belong to all the folders. Is it possible for example, to have a file in "folder 1" and a "shortcut" to the original file placed in "folder 2"? I have had a quick play with Categries, but cannot get them to show in the DMX Navigator. Is it possible to set the Navigator to view Categories in it's list? Are there any examples of templates done to use Categories instead of folders?

If you specify multiple categories on a single document it will show up in different categories. You can make a categories browser but the navigator does not show them, no. But that could always be made but requires programming. Alternatively there are templates done to do this as well. I'll make them available in due course.

I also have the need from something like this. Are the templates you mention available for download? I'm currently testing/reviewing DMX 05.01.00
