Hi everybody,

Did not see this on the board and would therefore need your help:

I have a new installation of DMX and in the main window (that looks like the explorer with Folder, Tools, Admin, Help on top) I cannot add a new folder in order to continue working.

Sorry if that might sound too easy, but I am really stuck here.

Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,

Do you see the base 'Document Exchange' folder? If so: how are you logged in? As host or admin or regular user? Do you not see a menu item to create a new item?

Hi Peter,
yes, I do see a 'Document Exchange' folder and I can see the menu item "create new item". Unfortunately nothing happens when I click on it. See http://www.ecml.at/chris/dmx.gif
Strange, isn't it?
Thanks for your help!
Chris

Hi Chris,

The menu item has a link. Do you see the browser go to a link or not? If not then do you see a javascript error in your browser? If you do see a link what is that link?

Hi Peter,
yes, it goes to a link, but then says "Done, but with errors" in the bottom line, and shortly after that switches to "done". When I click on the link it starts doing something but then nothing new shows up. The link I see (showing in the bottom line) is .../Default.aspx?Command=Core_Edit&CollectionId=0...
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Can you contact me by email (peter at bring2mind dot net) with a screenshot? And please copy the JS error that IE shows as well.

Peter
