Hi,

I've just installed FF 3.6 and I've got a new and annoying behavior with DMX (5.0.1). When I right-click on a file or folder, the browser context menu appears and stands in front of the DMX menu.

Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks,
Francisco

Hi Francisco, Martin,

For DMX 5.3 I plan to review this UI again. This means updating the latest ComponentArt library to see if it solves some of these issues. Until that time there's little I can do as it's all third party stuff.

Peter,

Do you mean that this issue keeps happening with DMX 5.2? In that case I'll wait for upgrading.

Thanks,
Francisco

Hi Francisco,

I have not heard of your issue before, so I can't vouch that it has been resolved in 5.2 although the 3rd party library has been updated in between those versions.

I have 5.02.02 installed and, yes, the problem described does in fact occur with Firefox 3.6.   The 3.5 Firefox versions seemed to be fine.

Is enough known yet to determine if it is DMX's issue or something not quite right in Firefox 3.6?

Is there a timeframe for this to be corrected?  We are on the verge of committing to DMX as a part of our application and need to be assured this will be addressed soon.  I sure don't want to go through another go-round with another document management module.  Our team likes DMX.

We've invested a fair amount of effort in knitting DMX into our app and need some reassurance that this can and will be corrected.  Sorry to be a pain.  My project manager is pushing for an answer.

Thanks,

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

I'm going to get on top of this. Ultimately I can't promise there is a solution within time XYZ. Currently work is directed to get DMX 5.2.3 out the door which does not address UI issues. After that work starts on 5.3 which should get a UI revamp. 5.3 is slated for next Month.
