We want to put revision nr, author, folder info via the MS Word Custom properties (fields) in to my document, so If a document get's printed by someone it has that information on the printout (eg. footer). Additional we need more that just one approver for a document, will that be feasible ?

Hi Doug, No we never did do this. I can't remember what held back the project. There are costs involved in not just the programming but also the licensing of a 3rd party dll to manipulate Word files. I'd say you're looking at 4 figures at first hand. But technically it's doable which is the important thing to know. You can override the download code of DMX and roll your own. That could intervene in the download and do this if the requested document was a Word document. Peter
