Dear all,

I must give edit permission to a folder tree (with a lot files into) to a user group but unfortunately sometimes they can do unexpected drag&drop

Do you know how to track unexpected drag&drops? like receive an alert as notifications process for example?

thank you for your answer

Hi Ingrid,

There are several notification options. One would be to use the audit email. That way you get an email of every single thing that happens in the document exchange. Alternatively you can set the "Move" action to provoke notification to someone like the owner or the person doing the move (self). This is tuned in the Notifications admin screen.

Hi peter, I tuned the audit mail but I don't receive any message to the email address I set.

If I want to send to the administrator and to some user roles a notification (case= add, move, delete for example) what should I fill in the gaps in the notification page? CORE_ADMIN for administrator ?
Is it also mandatory to subsribe to get notifications?

thank you

Hi Ingrid,

I'll make a note about not getting an email when you drag n drop. That sounds like a bug.

The value you fill in in the notifications matrix points to the type of email you want to send. These emails are stored in the sharedresources file of DMX. The notifications matrix limits the target of your email to those in specific roles *relating to the document*. So not roles in DNN. But roles like "editors", "approvers" etc. So I don't think you can do what you're looking for unless those roles are also roles in the document.
