Hi Peter,

These are two little things that would be great if they could be fixed:

1. In the module settings, when you click either the drop-down for root folder or for root category, you are sent up to the top of the page - an annoyance if you have a long settings page and you don't know about Ctrl-End!

2. In the AJAX UI, if you have a long document list you cannot scroll down and view the last files in the list.  It stops short at either the 2nd to the last or the 3rd to the last.  It is almost like the “details” panel is covering the bottom of the list.  I have tried playing with the height of the Details screen – no luck.

Thanks

A little more info about #2:

It does the same thing ("details covering the list") in both IE and FF, but if I switch the DNN View/Edit control from Edit to View, I can now see the bottom of the list! Maybe it is affected by the module action menu (triangle icon) which pushes the module contents down when it is visible?

Hi Laurence,

1. Point taken. I'm not sure it's solvable. It's a third party component. Certainly the DMX code doesn't send you to the top of the page.

2. This is a known issue. There are some differences between XHTML and non XHTML skins in how it renders the box.

For both issues: We're looking at updating the UI components soon and maybe this will all be resolved. In any case I decided to stay away from tinkering with the UI until the component update was being done. In my experience every time I tweak it, it does something nasty for a group of users. Compatibility is the main challenge here.

OK that's fine. It's easy to get around these issues. Thanks.
