Peter,

I had a question about hiding the menu items cut/copy from the menu and the right click action. I am trying to customize the menu option to hide these options because my user group won’t need this functionality and I don’t want to confuse them. I read a previous post a while back referring to this and you replied saying that this is possible if you modify the DefaultMenu.resources file and remove the specified items.

I have tried editing the DesktopModules\Bring2mind\DMX\Resources\DefaultMenus\DefaultMenu.resources file but it seems like you might be setting the visibility some other place (Or of course I am not commenting the correct lines out because I am not that familiar with XSL). Do you know what lines need to be removed for the Cut and Copy items to not be visible?

Thanks in advance

Hi Scott,

The default menu in DMX is copied to portals/[id]/DMX/Menus on initialization and on every module upgrade and when you click "reset menus". Edit this one to tweak it. Make a copy if you want to save your work and you can point any DMX instance to the new menu to use.

Thank you for responding so quickly.  Works like a charm... it helps when you edit the right file :)
