This is a new installation with a trial licene.  DNN version 05.01.04 (3).   version 5.2.9. installation was rocky.  first installation could not see DMX in module pull down list.  uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times and finally got it to work.

I installed DMX on a page but can't see any folders or files.  If i add a new folder I ca see it in the module settings in the root folder drop-down.  but even when the root folder is set to "Document Exchange" I can't see the sub folders when bworsing the module.  Also, files upload but do not display in the module.

I'm going  this all while logged in as host.  PLease advise

Same behavior when logged in as Admin or User. Auto create based on username token is working, although I can't verify that the permissions are inheriting correctly. also, I get this error when I select "Edit Attributes" from the folder menu:

Error Error loading bring2mind/dmx/editentry.ascx
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Cannot edit the root ---> System.Exception: Cannot edit the root at Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.Controls.EditEntry.OnInit(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Control.AddedControl(Control control, Int32 index) at System.Web.UI.ControlCollection.Add(Control child) at Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.Dispatch.ᜀ(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Hi Morgan,

Do you see any JS errors in your browser by any chance?
