When the emails come through, the domain name in the email is incomplete.  This is happening for multiple portals.  Here is an example:

The following actions have taken place on documents you are tracking:
Anonymous
was deleted by User1 on Monday, August 28, 2010
link: http://home/Default.aspx?...311&EntryId=9943

Pending
was deleted by User 2 on Monday, August 28, 2010
link: http://home/Default.aspx?...311&EntryId=9944

Can someone please help me figure out why this is happening and how it can be resolved? I have gone into Admin->Main Options and have updated the settings multiple times after ensuring that the correct domain name has been selected for the portal.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Chhavi,

The link is constructed using the mentioned setting on Main Options. Are you on the latest version of the module?

Hi Peter,

We have version 5.2.7 in Production. I think the problem seems to be resolved in 5.2.9 (which we installed in QA). Do you know what is different between the two versions as far as this functionality?

Thanks,
Chhavi

Hi Peter,

Sorry I take that back. It is doing the same on version 5.2.9 as well. The email that comes out when the user first subscribes to the document has the complete domain name in the URL. However the emai that gets sent out after the document has been edited has the incomplete domain name in the URL.

Sample: Subscription Email

The following actions have taken place on documents you are tracking:

Mapping
was Subscribed by User A on Tuesday, September 28, 2010
link: http://<>/Default.aspx?tabid=2039&EntryId=98677

Email after the document has been edited.

The following actions have taken place on documents you are tracking:

Mapping
was edited by User B on Tuesday, September 28, 2010
link: http://ustrys/Default.asp...d=2039&EntryId=98677

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chhavi

Hi Chhavi,

No, I'm not sure what is up. Like I said the notifications look for the default domain in the settings to construct the email. Are there other specifics of your setup? Web farm maybe?
