Hello,
I'm working on a welcome page of our intrante which shows new/changed items. There should show new dmx documents too.
Should I use a database query to find out new documents or should I use the API?

You could. Note that as a customer you can download the source of the WhatsNew extension which aims to do the same. Maybe you can tweak the code to your liking.

Hi Peter,
I found DMX WhatsNew binary version 2.2.1 in the download area for customers. It looks similar to what I'm looking for and it's really fast. Therefore a great suggestion!
Where should I look for the source?

There is a separate folder "Source" underneath all the DMX versions. You'll need to log in with your account that you used to get DMX though.
