Hi guys,

we are evaluating DMX Document Exchange for a project we are developing.

We need our users to upload (let's say "blind upload") files to our portal in a specific directory, always the same, and the extension LetterBox is just what we need.

The problem is that when we place the Lettebox Module on a page, when the page is loaded by the browser, we don't see any control to upload the file, as you can see in this screenshot:

We tried to configure the module in various ways but nothing seems to change. Now the config is like this:

There is no visible error, the control just doesn't show up.

Please if anyone has a suggestion, it will be very helpful, because we're running out of time with our client :-)

Our Components version is:

DMX LetterBox 01.02.02
Document Exchange Professional 05.03.05 (trial version)
DNN Core 04.09.05

Hi,

we just updated to the latest version of DNN (5.6.1) (238), with the latest version of the DMX Module (5.3.5), and LetterBox (1.2.2), with no luck.

We dropped the module on an empty, simple page, but the Upload Button doesn't show up.

If there are some versions of DNN, that are certified to work with the Letterbox Module, please let us know :-)

Hi Simone,

I'll look into this. The upload control is grabbed from DMX. So if DMX's upload control is rendering it should in the letterbox as well.

Note that the extension downloads are posted under the DMX version against which they were compiled. So you'd need to check that you DMX is at least of the same or higher version than the folder under which the extension was posted.

I understood, but thought it was a problem of my installation, I reinstalled everything from the beginning (clean situation)... DNN 05:06:01 (238), Document Exchange Professional 5.3.5 DMX and the ultimate varsion of DMX LetterBox that i find in extension folder... The Last is in folder for the verison 05:03:01 is okay?

Question: But which version( DNN, DMX) did you have in your demo site (http://demo.bring2mind.ne...bid/67/Default.aspx) where I can see the upload control field?

We will be interested to buy this product, but if we can not solve this problem we should change direction...

Have you pointed the destination for LetterBox (module settings) to another folder than the absolute root ("Document Exchange")? If not, please try.
