How can you speed up Sync Folders DNN scheduled task?

Is there any way to speed up the Sync Folders process? We are using this module for our company's intranet which has about 600,000 files. Currently the Sync Folders process is taking over 10 hours to complete. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi Todd, Syncing by its very nature doesn't scale well. On every sync the task needs to go through the document tree. This was never designed to cope with that kind of volume. Instead it was meant as an extra for smaller volumes. The rest of the app scales well as it doesn't have this drawback. Peter
