My document exchange professional recently will take 1 or 2 minutes to generate a view. It was normally almost instantaneous.

Also the Flexlist module when I place it on a page the root dropdown inside the configuration will only display 10 folders? The scrollbar fills the whole vertical.

Ayy ideas please.

I don't have enough info to go on here, unfortunately. Your best bet is to contact us by email. If you want I'll have a quick look if you have a login.

I sent you an email to the email addresses listed on the website but maybe your spamfilter have gobbled it up?

It’s located on a new 2008R2 server with DNN5.6. It’s used for our company intranet so behind a very aggressive firewall so I cannot give you access to check.

1) Recently when I click on a page that has the DMX admin module on it the rendering takes a minute or so even when the website is still loaded in ISS. Before it was almost instantaneously. I checked and the server is still healthy in all respects. This happened right after I placed the flexlist on a page that refused to render so I deleted it.

2) Also my most pressing issue is that I have the flexlist module that refuses to show more than 10 folders in the settings dropdown. The vertical scrollbar fills the whole box indicating that it does not intending to show more. See screenshot. The DMX admin module displays all the folders (approx. 200) All the other extension modules do the same.

3) Also I set the root folder to my product folder but need to access 3 others now also. How do I add this or move it to portal root? See screenshot.

Hi Martin,

I think we are in contact over email now. For nr 2 you were referring to the settings screen root folder dropdown of the Flexlist module, weren't you?

Hi Peter

1) Since I created the additional sync folders and deleted the orriginal one the sluggishness has gone

2) Have the work around sorted now by scrolling the mouse wheel

3) I now know how to add other folders to sync

One of the folders I added synced the first half and no more. It has a red stop so what does this mean?

The red stop means it is not approved yet. Unless you plan to use it I wouldn't use the approval mechanism on a sync folder. So best to remove it again and when you create the sync folder do not select any role/user with approval permission.

What does the services Maintenance, Service and Syncfolder exactly do? I could not find any info in the help documentation. I have 2 folders that just won't delete and on the Maintenance service log I see errors all the time and think this must be related?

Hi Martin,

You're running into the wall with the sync folder IMO. Sync folders, by their very nature, don't scale. I.e. processing time is linear with the amount of content. Once they get too big you get issues. Here, for instance, the main DMX table is locked by this task while you're trying to do something else (nl. delete).
