Firstly I try to create a new folder, I enter the description and all the other details and click finish .. I dont see the folder!!
Am I missing something there!!

Secondly,

I have a main page which has three sub pages in it.
I want to create a DMX folder structure where there would be a main folder would have three sub folders, each of which would have the files pertaining to it.

I have a drop down menu, with the main page link and when clicked on it i get the the other three links to the three sub pages. When I click one of those links I want to see only the fodlers pertaining to that page and not the others.
But when i select the main page, i want to see the folders of all the three pages.

Can anyone guide me through it.

Thanks

Hi,

The first issue sounds like there is a javascript issue. Have you made sure whitespace filtering is off? Do you see anything in the UI?

For the second item: yes this is perfectly possible. My understanding here is that you are talking about DotNetNuke pages. So you stick a DMX on each of those pages and set the root folder (Module Settings) to the folder of that page. That is the way it was designed to work.

Peter,
Thanks for the reply .. the first issue is resolved.

With the second issue , i am trying to select the root folder, but as i try to click on the folders to select it , the cursosr is jumping to start of the page and not allowing me to select a root folder.

The structure of my folder is

Parent
--Child
----grandchild

Now to change the root from Parent to child, there is a drop down menu which when I click ...it shows the menu but then takes me to the top of the page ..so I come al the way down and with much difficulty select the Child as the root folder.

But I am unable to select the grandchild as my root folder....

The drop down menu is displayed as

Root
+ Child

And when I click on the + button beside the Child it again throws me to the top of the page ...but doesn't display the grandchild?

Is there any setting that I have to enable so that it doesn't throw me off like that!!

Thanks

That'd probably be a skin issue as well. Try this: Use the mouse scroll wheel to move back to the dropdown and make sure you collapse the sections above the DMX section on the settings page.
