Hi!

Here are a few suggestions coming from the users of DMX:

1. Make it easier to subscribe to a folder
This could be achieved by a button somewhere rather than having to go into the menus.

2. Make "Open in Word" the default action for double-click.
Would be nice to have a setting to allow this.

3. A toolbar with buttons for at least som of the actions on Folder and Element menus.
F.eks. new file(s), new folder, subscribe/unsubscribe, download element, open element in application.

4. When something goes wrong opening a file in WebDav it would be nice to get a notification warning the user that they can not save their work back to the portal.

Thanks for your continuous work with DMX, Peter.

Regards
Siri

Hi Siri,

Thanks. Noted. Note the new version has just gone beta. Some comments on what you've brought forward:
1. This can be done in the templated view as you have full control over HTML. It allows the inclusion of a "subscription" button.
2. Not that many users have the capacity to use WebDAV. Doing this will flood me with emails asking why double click doesn't do anything. So maybe a special menu for this would be better.
4. If only I had that power. You'll need to ask Microsoft for that. Note that Word *does* show (read-only) in the status bar when this happens.
