For a sync folder created in a DMX, we want to append only new documents shared in its mapped physical folder and also maintain its earlier uploaded documents on executing synchronization script.
For this we tried different Conflict Resolution(i.e. sync type) settings:
1) Copy both ways - In this it is appending new documents in the DMX sync folder but also populate documents available in the DMX Sync folder to its physical mapped folder which we want to avoid.
2)Source folder is leading - In this earlier documents of the DMX sync folder are removed and only new documents shared in the physical path are getting populated in the DMX sync folder. We want to retain earlier documents shared in the DMX sync folder.

Please provide a solution so that only shared documents in the mapped physical folder will be uploaded in the DMX sync folder retaining its earlier documents and without populating any documents from the DMX Sync folder to its physical mapped folder.

As far as I can see this scenario is not supported. The source/DMX leading options are designed to bring the other side in line with what is on the other side. These scenario's are typically more robust than the "copy both ways" scenario but it is also more brutal. My suggestion is to use "source leading" but copy out what you had there before. I'll make a note of your use case to see if this could be made a setting.
