I just installed the letterbox through DNN's installation wizard. I then proceeded to add the module onto the same page as my Doc Exchange. After adding it all that showed up was the DNN Blue information box with the italicized I in it. Did I install this extension wrong or do I not understand how it's used?

It is not meant to be used on the same page but it should show more. Have you set any of the settings in the module settings yet?

Have not adjusted the settings. Should I put it on another page or is it fine if I keep it on the same page as DMX?

It wasn't designed to be used on the same page so cannot give any guarantees there. My hunch is it will work. Many DMX extensions and DMX itself use the querystring at times to control the module. Putting those on the same page will lead to clashes due to that. But AFAIK the letterbox extension doesn't use the querystring.
