Hi, I have been trialing Document Exchange to serve files to our travelling employees, while access via a standard PC/Laptop using IE, opening/viewing any file works flawlessly, but when trying to view a file on their tablets they cannot open any file. Using the "simple downloads" add-on works with no issues the files open in a new tab and the user can read them. Is there any way of allowing tablet type access to the files within DMX6, IE single click open, or hold to open list of commands. Sorry if I have over looked an option somewhere, tbh I’m hoping i have somewhere, as i love the functionality of DMX and it would be a shame not to be able to utilize it on all platforms. Thanks in advance Paul

The iPad doesn't support the download function. There is no workaround as far as I know. Peter |

Hi Peter Thanks for the response, i should have replied earlier, the answer was stairing me in the face, on the ipad, you just click "ITEM" then you can open/view or click download and it opens on the Ipad. Regards Paul |

I've ran into this same issue. Paul, what to you mean by clicking"ITEM"? Is this in the Document Exchange module or one of the other modules? Thanks, Jim |

Sorry. never mind, I found it. ITEM shows up as a hyperlink above the folder structure once an item is selected.
