Hi,

We bought the DMX 6.0.2 and installed it on a DNN 6.1.2. When I try to move one file from the right panel to another folder (in the left panel) I'm getting the following error:

An error 'Input string was not in a correct format.' occurred. Trace:
at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.ViewThreePanel.ᜁ(Object A_0, CallBackEventArgs A_1)

This seems only happen when using AJAX UI (3 Panels).

(I would love to attach the screen but that does not seem feasible.)

This is what I see in the Chrome console in case it helps.

Uncaught ReferenceError: draggedItem is not defined ViewThreePanel.js:111

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'getMember' of null ViewThreePanel.js:110

I downloaded the trial version and installed in my local machine, and I'm getting the same error.

If I try moving 2 files at the same time (instead of just one) It seems to work. But after that, if I just pick and move 1 of those 2 previously selected files, both of them are moved again.

Thoughts?

Le me know if you need the screens with the full errors.

Thanks!
Leandro

I am also getting that same issue on the same version. I raised this with Peter previously and he said that it would be fixed in the next release.

I am also seeing issues with the drag and drop in IE when in the AJAX UI (2 panel) view. Where you drag and drop a document and you get confirmation that the file has been moved but when you go into the folder the file is not there and it is not in the original folder either?!

You then perform a search for the file you tried to move and can find the file and it has been moved into what seems an entirely random folder...

Any ideas about this one?

Thanks,
Mike.

Mike,

That wasn't the answer I was expecting ;) but thank you so much for replying.

Regarding your issue, our client reported exactly the same and no, I have no idea. I wasn't able to reproduce it using chrome.

Best,
Leandro

Hi guys,

Can you confirm this: does this only occur when you've set the root folder to a folder other than the default absolute root? I think I found something in that area.

I don't remember to change that. Just installed the module, created 2 folders and try to drag & drop.

Anyways...how can I check that to be sure? Is the "Root folder for module" in settings?

If yes, it's on the very top, the one named "Document Exchange"

Thanks!

I can also confirm that this is still an issue when you set the root folder as the absolute root.

@Leandro: it's set in the module settings. But Mike just confirmed this is not the issue.

The challenge is to reproduce this accurately. I'll keep trying.
