Make sure you have (a) the latest iFilter for Acrobat installed on the server, (b) you're running full trust and (c) reindex. Not indexing the contents of Acrobat files (vs for instance plain text files) means something is up with the component that is able to extract the text from PDFs. This is not a component supplied by us, but by Adobe, and should be installed separately on the server. Note that if you're in a shared hosting environment this can prove to be problematic. Peter
