Hi,

Can I show the folder tree, but only the folders containing files that belong to a category/categories?

I've tried it in many ways but I haven't been able to get it :-(

Thank you,
Francisco

Hi Francisco,

No, there is no way to do that unfortunately.

O, you may want to check out the Flexlist extension (free download from this site) that *does* have filtering and other options. But it is a very different UI and meant as just a download tree.

I've tried to use Flexlist, but it seems as if it doesn't filter as it should. Either shows all the folders, have they documents in the selected categories or not (Shows all folders ENABLED), or it just shows one folder, not the relevant one (Shows all folders DISABLED)

So you're saying there's a bug in the Flexlist where "Show All Folders" is DISABLED is not working correctly?

I've uploaded a new version in which I've rewritten this logic. So there are a couple of changes:

1. The root is no longer shown. It's everything just underneath that is shown. Saves screen real estate. Let me know if you feel this should be an option.

2. *Not* selecting Show All Folders means that all folders without any content will be eliminated. This takes a bit of processing, mind you. The change is that even if the folder is marked with a category that you want, it will still be removed if it's empty.
