I've installed DMX trial to check if it meets our requirements. There are only 3 things which I'm unable to do:

- specify a "published flag"
Removing this flag the document will not be displayed for download. I haven't found anything similar in "Edit Attributes". I might remove all permissions. But then I have to set them again - if I still know the initial permissions.

- specfiy "published from - to " dates
If specified, the document is published/visible/downloadable only from/to.

- calculate a MD5-checksum and display it in "Properties"-Dialog.
A checksum might be handy from time to time.

How can I do those things with DMX 6.0?

"published flag" - indeed. I can't see an easy hack to create this either.

"published from - to " - it's somewhat related to the first. I mean: storing a couple of dates is something that can be added quite easily. But it's the publish/unpublish functions that are more difficult.

MD5-checksum - that is actually not that difficult. The details.ascx is the screen that shows the details of a document when you click properties. DMX already stores the MD5 checksum. So all you need to do is to add a line to this ascx to show it. For naming, check the DMX_Entries table.
