So I truly like this Minimal Template; it is clean and easy. But I've been struggling in trying to allow new directories, edit, and add new documents.

I've followed the vague documentation I found online; but it doesn't appear to work. Can someone help me out or point me in a good direction to get it?

I even attempted to link to the default module button location and tie it into the Template View and it still didn't appear.

Thank you.

Hi Greg. It's hard to enumerate all options. But the default template shows all the possible buttons. For the new button for instance:
[if|1][button:new_visible][/if][endif|1]
Let me know if you have questions about this.

Hello Peter,

The odd thing is, when I utilized those buttons from the "Default Template" they don't work. So it doesn't physically allow me to implement them.

What I've done was add this to the "Minimal Template":

I added the entire div and its contents. Then I added the entire tabular layout as well. The buttons don't work; which makes it difficult.

My primary goal is to allow a user to quickly modify the File Structure, add more to the default folder IE:

Documents --> Education
Documents --> Education --> Certificates
Documents --> Training

Like that. Then allow a special Dot Net Nuke role I've created the ability to perform all the task an Administrator would do such as: Edit, Upload, Create New, and etc.. In the easiest way possible. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong; but I can't appear to get it to work and I'm not sure why. I've followed all the methods and tried quite a lot of ways to make the UI do what I'd like it to.

Thank you for the reply and assistance. Anymore thoughts?

Thank you,
Greg

Another thing I noticed; is when the default view or other views are selected when you enable inline editing. The jQuery will increase the size of those inline images on the entire page.

Conflicts with the skin are hard to exclude (image size in reaction to edit mode). But I'm at a loss to explain why the tuned template wouldn't work. You'll need to use something like Firebug to examine the exact HTML that is being created and take it from there.
