The submenu displays correctly in Chrome and Firefox but in IE 10 the top of the submenu is about 30 pixels lower then the main menu item. This makes it very difficult to select anything in the submenu and is preventing us from adding new files and folders.

I have encountered a smiliar issue. I'm using IE 10 and when I right click on a folder the menu is very small with no text/menu items. The menu is blank.
Is there a setting in IE 10 or is this a stylesheet bug?

* Question * - How can i edit a file that's stored in a folder without having to download it, edit it and then upload a newer version of the file? Is it possible to just edit the current file when I click open? I have attempted to open a file, edit it and then save the changes but they're not there when I reopen the file. Thank You

Submenu placement can be an issue with DNN's control bar open (the bar that is displayed at the top when logged in as Admin or Host). There are now so many variations of these bars between DNN versions that it has become all but impossible to completely rule out any displacements when browser X with DNN version Y.

This is unrelated to this thread's issue. The short answer is "no". The long answer is "if you can set up WebDAV correctly you can do this". Setting up WebDAV is technically not easy and requires you to be familiar with the http protocol and to be able to use Fiddler to debug issues. Check the WebDAV forum and documentation for more.
