Bonjour Peter, I havn't been able to get webdav working with IE10 yet. When opening a folder in windows explorer, i get a windows promt to connect to www.mydomain.com.

When i open a word document in word, the document opens in word but cannot save back to the folder. I have not fiddled with fiddler yet, i will look into that on monday, however i wanted to post this message to get a head start in hopes that you have had a chance to test with IE10 and might have a few tips for me on what to try.

*Note that https is activated on the documents page only. This has been activated recently and works as expected in IE9.
DMX6.1.5, windows 7

Merci beaucoup.
Stef.

Hi Stef,

Sounds like the browser is not sending the dmxdav cookie. Then it will trip up and challenge for a login. And then apparently the file fails to LOCK. Check this out with Fiddler.

FYI: I have WebDAV working with IE10. So it must be possible.

Hi Peter, Fiddler seems to confirm your theory about the dmxdav cookie. when accessing the documents module, i can see .aspxanonymous and .DNN cookies being set ok, however when the request to /dmxdav is sent, there is only an .aspxanonymous cookie and no dmxdavcookie.

The request returns a 401 not authorised error. I double checked IIS and the only active authentication providers for the site are anonymous and forms.

I've gone through the IE10 settings and added the site to trusted sites, droped all security setting as low as possible and accept all cookies.

I still havn't succeded with this yet.

Any other ideas would be appreciated
Cheers!

Try logging in with an admin account (not host user). Does that help?

Since you can't really test webdav stuff with host user, all tests are done using a regular dnn account with webdav permissions. I still have not succeded in getting a 64 bit windows 7 pro machine with ALL updates and IE10 to work. Peter, can you think of anythign out of the ordinary that you had to do to your environment in order to get this to work? It works great using windows 8 and IE10.

I added my account to the site administrators group as well as the actual site administrator and results are the same.

If you send me a Fiddler trace, I'd be happy to take a look. My guess is that something is intercepting the authentication.
