Hide old docs or group by Year

Hi, hoping someone may be able to help. Client has been collecting documents in various folders and the folders are getting large in terms of #'s of documents. I've sorted them in reverse chronological order so most recent are at the top. what they would like is to show documents for the current Year and either have an Archive section for older documents or even better an expandable list year by year e.g. doc 1 doc 2 doc 3 + 2012 + 2011 + 2010 has anyone tweaked the templates to do anything like this? any assistance or direction would be appreciated Regards Lucas

Hi Lucas, It isn't possible to do this with templates. For the older documents to be archived they need to be moved. You could create a component that does this automatically and have this component registered as a DNN scheduled task. It's not rocket science but it does require programming skills in DNN and some knowledge of the DMX API. Peter
