After uploading multiple files using the Silverlight upload control, I have received the error message:
Could not find file 'C:\websites\DNN6\Portals\0\DMX\Upload\20131103135004_90271138ac6e4da9b6614afbd458356d.resources'. The error occurs when I click on the finish button after the upload is complete.

The error seems to occur more often after uploading several large files to the server.

Any idea on what could be causing this to happen? I'm thinking it might be related to our repository being located on a different drive.

What is happening is that when DMX comes round to storing the file, the uploaded file has disappeared from the temporary holding place on disk. I can't think of many reasons for this file to be somehow deleted, but here are a few thoughts.

First: DMX cleans up the upload directory periodically. When it does so, it deletes files older than 12 hours. Given that the task itself normally runs once or twice a day, it is highly unlikely that this is the cause.

Second: to protect itself, some servers may include some task that scrutinizes any new uploaded file. If it is deemed to large or have the wrong kind of extension, it may be auto deleted. I am not familiar with this domain, but I'm listing it here as an avenue of research.

You may need to look carefully at the timing of these uploads in light of the first item above. And you may need to run tests while keeping an eye on the mentioned folder just to see if you can pinpoint to an exact set of circumstances that allow you to repeat this.
