It's possible but it's quite technical and you'll need to know your way around editing ascx files (depending on the view you're talking about). I'm assuming you're referring to the default two panel Ajax view. In which case you'll need to find the grid and you'll see the various columns. You can add a column with a custom attribute's "key" value as column name. Obviously this attribute needs to be global and present in each portal or the control will provoke an error in another portal.
